Hello lovelies!
Happy Friday! Here in the UK it is Good Friday (Easter Friday) and whether or not it is where you are, have a brilliant day!
Because I play hockey and February marks the end of the season, I took advantage of my first free weekend and decided to go shopping. Although most of this was bought in one shopping trip, some pieces were purchased at other times. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy browsing through what I have accumulated over the last month from several high street and online stores!
At the beginning of February, I browsed www.asos.com to find dresses to wear to several occasions I had coming up. Due to ASOS having an extensive collection of dresses, I ordered several but fell in love with the dresses pictured and so kept them.
The first dress is a textured, sleeveless skater dress and I plan to wear it this weekend when I go to a wedding. The black panels down the sides of the dress are very flattering as they make you look slimmer than you are (bonus!). Although it is now out of stock, I ordered a similar one, which I sent back that you can find here.
The second dress (a black, mesh skater dress) is originally from New Look, despite buying it from ASOS. The mesh detailing at the top of the dress adds an extra something to a normal black dress and that is why I love it. It can be worn for a casual day but it can also be dressed up to worn for a party or other special occasion. At just £12.99, I just could not resist! Find it here.
The third dress screamed summer to me and that's exactly why I bought it. When it arrived, the bright colours instantly lifted my mood and although it was extremely hopeful for me to buy it when the weather forecast was constantly rain, I knew summer was, in my head, just around the corner. The dress sits just above the knee and would look lovely in the summer with a pretty pair of sandals. Need a gorgeous dress in your life to get excited for summer? Buy it here!
Both of the items pictured above are from Primark. Whenever I go into Primark I am always pleasantly surprised with the pieces I find. Although I only picked up two pieces of clothing where I would usually purchase several, I am very happy with both of these items.
The first is a sheer blouse probably inspired by the bohemian trend that allows you to wear it in different ways. As pictured, I wear it normally, however, you can slip one (or both) sleeves down to reveal a bit of shoulder! After wearing it the other day, I would recommend wearing a vest underneath unless you're brave! Another bonus to the blouse was that it had £8.00 on the price tag but surprisingly only set me back £3.00!
The second image is deceiving as, although it looks like a midi dress, it's actually and jumpsuit with clots at the bottom. You'll either love them or you'll hate them; personally, I love them - hence why I bought it. This image does not really give a clear representation of what they would look like on so if you would like a separate blog post on how I would style them please comment below!

The clothing pictured above are all from New Look and they are probably my favourite purchases from the shopping trip. The two mini skirts look lovely with the beautiful white cami. I have never bought skirts like this before and, surprisingly, they are not that short!
